Technically, yes, but it is nothing like the Norton coeruleas. I think 'Blue' is a mericlone that has been in distrubution, as I have seen pictures of it online, and they all look the same.
Interesting. Recently I got two teeny-tiny(probably smaller than yours) seedlings of Phal. violacea ('Blue Mas' X 'Blue US'). X means it is a seed cross, so the bloom can be upredictable, but the fact that both parents have word 'blue' should give the bluish color, right?
No, definitely not Nortons, I think they were imported from some asian country, I didn't pay much for them. I couldn't find any info on those 'Mas' or 'Us', just hope it will be bluish violacea. Years from blooming though...

ReplyDeleteYours sounds like a Norton cross, so there is a good chance it will be an indigo phal!!!
