Cattlianthe Loddiaca

Here is one of the first two orchids I have ever bought, (C. loddigesii x Gur. aurantiaca). I might have got a bloom from it last year, but I pulled the sheath apart while it was still green, and killed anything that might have developed. This year, I have not touched the sheath, and I have seen tiny bits of growth, but it appears to go and stop. Due to the parentage, it might bloom either in the late winter or early spring. I don't actually care when it blooms, as long as it blooms and I don't have to wait another year!
