This little NoID is one lucky 'chid! This was one of the first few Phals I bought, and of course coming from the grocery store, it was a NoID. Sometime this summer it must have got minor crown rot or something, as it hasn't grown any new leaves. I was going to chuck it, but it redeemed itself by growing what looked like a spike, but ended up being a kieki, which was also good. It redeemed itself from the OS sale table when it once again put out what looked like a spike, but is now clearly another kieki. Finally, this plant has earned its spot in my closet when the bigger kieki finally sent out what appears to be a spike. It could possible be another kieki, but I doubt it. It just goes to show that threatening your 'chids gets them moving!
